Mentorship was the most requested addition to Hire Women Week, so we’re bringing it back for another year. With your help, we are facilitating a mentorship matchmaking day to connect mentees to senior professionals in their field.
When: Friday, January 26 There are sessions for mentoring on the final day of Hire Women Week.
Where: Join the video session via the Hire Women Week event platform.
Time Commitment: 30 min per session Each sign up leads to a 20-minute session with option to extend time by a few minutes if needed.
Who are the Mentors: The mentors are event attendees and Lady Bird Talent community members who have several years experience in their areas of expertise and have volunteered to meet with a mentee.
Who are the Mentees: The mentees are women who are attending Hire Women Week and want a 1:1 conversation with someone who is specific to their discipline or moment in their career.
Topics to discuss: Mentees should be prepared to bring one or two specific questions in advance.

What is the difference between a Mentor and a Mentee?
Note: Mentors are not seeking advice but are dedicated to offering guidance and support to mentees.
Mentee: A mentee is someone who is eager to learn and grow, seeking guidance and support from a mentor to enhance their skills and navigate their career or personal journey. If you are looking for a mentor to provide insights and advice, sign up as a mentee.
Note: Mentees are individuals seeking guidance and are not offering mentorship.
